Last day for early bird pricing

Hello Reader ,

Today is the last day for early bird pricing for the 19th Annual Church Law & Leadership Summit.

This year’s theme is:

The Time Is Now: Building Resilient Churches for a Shifting World

And that theme matters.

Church leaders are navigating complex questions around governance, HR, finances, property, technology, leadership health, risk management, youth ministry, and legal readiness. Many of these issues are not abstract. They affect how churches lead, serve, protect their people, and steward the mission God has entrusted to them.

For the first time ever, the summit is expanding to two virtual days so church leaders have more time for practical training, networking, live Q&A, and meaningful conversations around the issues facing churches today.

The summit takes place virtually:

Thursday, September 17
Friday, September 18
11:00 AM–2:00 PM ET each day

Across two days, you will hear from trusted voices and engage in practical conversations designed to help your church think clearly about what resilience looks like in this season.

Day 1 includes a welcome and framework from Erika E. Cole, Esq., The Church Attorney®, followed by a featured session with Frank and Elaine Sommerville on Top Church Legal and Tax Issues.

Day 1 will also include breakout sessions and networking on topics such as:

  • Rest & Renewal in Leadership
  • Building Healthy Ministry Teams: HR Essentials for Churches
  • The Connected Church: Leveraging Technology for Growth and Engagement

The day will continue with a featured presentation from Michael Martin, Esq., CPA, President and CEO of ECFA, bringing a trusted perspective on integrity, accountability, and leadership for churches and Christ-centered ministries.

Day 2 includes sessions and conversations featuring:

  • Charles Hedman Esq. & Kyle Johnson Esq. from Brotherhood Mutual on Strengthening Ministry Safety: Risk Management Insights for Church Leaders
  • Denise Craig, CEO of The Church Network, on Leading Through Change
  • A fireside chat and Q&A covering youth ministry, church property, church finances, church HR, and practical next steps with leaders who understand the real decisions churches are facing

Whether you attend individually or bring several members of your leadership team, this summit is designed to give church leaders practical insight, trusted guidance, and space to think clearly about the next right steps.

For churches that want to bring multiple leaders, the Team Pass is one of the strongest options. It allows up to five members of your church leadership team to attend together, and during early bird pricing, your church can bring five leaders for less than the cost of one hour of a lawyer’s time.

The Team Pass also makes it easier for your church to get insight from all three live breakout sessions. Different team members can attend different sessions, then come back together to compare notes and identify practical next steps.

Premium and Team ticket holders also receive access to the summit companion guide, which includes resources, speaker materials, worksheets, checklists, templates, downloads, special offers, and a full year digital magazine subscription from Christianity Today, our media sponsor.

If your church wants to strengthen legal readiness, support healthier leadership, prepare for operational and financial challenges, and align around practical next steps, this summit is for you.

Early bird pricing ends tonight.

The time is now to build resilient churches for a shifting world.

Blessings!
